    Description

    For sale is my Clear Crystal version of the Exhibition (See Thru) case back with retaining ring.
    It is a custom made one piece watch part that fits a vintage Bulova Accutron Model 2180, 218D, 2181, and 2182 with the traditional 34mm case. The OD of the caseback must be 30.5mm for the see thru case back to fit.   If your Accutron 218 has a bezel larger than 34mm, the retaining ring is too small. Email me if you have an oversize case to make sure the see thru case back w/retaining ring fits.
    The Exhibition case back features a new plastic Clear watch crystal.  The retaining ring is a pre-owned vintage Bulova Accutron 218 watch part.  The Bulova Accutron 218s depicted in the Gallery photos are not for sale.
    If you own an Accutron 218 watch or two with a heavily scratched, damaged, or engraved case back, or just want to "exhibit" your tuning fork watch movement, my Clear Exhibition Case back is a great way to enhance the beauty and uniqueness of your Accutron 218.
    It has not been pressure tested nor sold as waterproof.  Please look carefully at the photos before you commit to buy.

    Installation instructions:  You will need a metal case opening wrench tool to loosen and remove the retaining ring on your Bulova Accutron 218 watch.  Place the Exhibition caseback on the watch case.  Turn the caseback 1/4 turn counterclockwise until it is threaded evenly in the case.  Turn the case opener wrench clockwise until it is snug.
